Afternoon all, Hope you are all well & getting into the festive spirit with just over a week away!! Have you still got some Christmas shopping to do? I've got a few items to still get, hopefully can do it this coming week! Anyway, I'm going to be showing regular scrapbook projects with an amazing Blog Hop team, I'm so privileged to have been asked to be part of this awesome team of demonstrators from all over the world! The lovely Pam Staples who is part of the hop created this lovely sketch to follow: I really enjoyed creating this project & I've used some sneak peeks that will be coming out in January when the Spring/Summer catalogue goes live. The first picture is a my work in progress of the design before I was happy. I used the lovely Petal Passion suite:  Here is what the finished page looks like, I used the co-ordinating stamp set to create the flowers & the bottom of the page, mounted the pictures/journaling in Rose Red &

RAK Blog Hop

Good Morning all, On facebook I am part of an amazing group, which is called RAK card group - so every month there is an event to send out a card to anyone who is in the group. You never know who you will receive one off so it is always a lovely surprise to receive a lovely card in the post. I'm going to share with you some of the cards I've sent out in October & the beginning of this month. As well as the cards I've received from Australia, UK & United States. I also sent mine to these locations. Here are a few of the ones I sent, I don't always send out the same cards, which is why I can't remember what I've sent, it is only by those that have posted in the group to say they've received them that I can share them with you. This one I sent to the lovely Priscilla in Australia: This one to the gorgeous Ruth in the UK: I sent one to Annie in North Dakota, but can't remember which one I sent her! I am pict

Autumnal Love

Hi Everyone,  I haven't posted in a while, I really don't know where the time seems to be going! It is a nice autumnal day here in the UK & I spotted this great challenge over at Card Concept here is the inspirational image: A wonderful autumnal theme, so I made this lovely card: This stamp set creates so much depth with just a couple of stamps, I then just added a bold sentiment mounted on a scalloped edge square with some jute twine.  Thank you for stopping by & happy stamping,  X Jessie B X

Thankful Colour Challenge

Hi there,  I'm taking part in the Colour INKspiration Challenge again & these are the lovely colours the challenge has got for us:  This is a Facebook Group  but it is so inspiring to see all the creations pop up in one place, so I wanted to ink my Painted Harvest stamp set so I used these colours to create this alternative colour arrangement for the sunflower image:  I really like the contrast with the Pool Party & Tempting Turquoise, I didn't think much of the Pool Party at first & then as soon as I stamped the Tempting Turquoise I was like WOAH!! That is amazing! Here is the card stood up:  I hope you like it & thanks for popping by,  X Jessie B X

You're Just Lovely - High Tide

Hi there,  I've not blogged in a while, but I've been busy creating & the next week or so is going to be jam packed with some lovely posts.  I was inspired by the Global Design Project's Colour challenge, I find it really hard to stick to 3 colours so this was indeed a challenge, here is the inspiration from the GDP team:  So I had the colours, but did I know where to start - not the foggiest!! I knew I wanted to use the High Tide stamp set as to be honest I've not inked it much!! So then I found the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week:  Which inspired me to create the following:  Here is a close up:  I like the angle of this picture I took, I think it makes the lighthouse & the birds in the sun pop, what do you think?:  I really liked creating this project & it was nice to use colours in a way that is not normally intended - like a flirty flamingo sun - makes it look like it is just before dusk. Bright Garden in Blooms

Hi there, I couldn't resist taking part in the Fab Friday's challenge, here is the colour inspiration:  I really wanted to use the floral designer series paper in the new in colours & this challenge incorporated 2 of them so I had to use both!! I wanted to ink up some old stamp sets, as with a new catalogue it's so easy to get sucked into using new all the time. So here is what I created:  I loved the colours & used the Daffodil Delight & Tangerine Tango to create the lovely big blooms & then I used Berry Burst for the small rose flower. I stamped it off a few times so that I just used the one colour for that flower - 3 steps for that stamp set. A close up of the card:  I couldn't resist adding some new bling, so used the gold faceted gems for my pollen. A closer image of the stamped flowers: I really loved making this card & my class attendees really enjoyed doing it too. Even if they did have slight i

Birthday Daisy

Hi there,  So I'm popping by with a clean & simple card, thanks to the great design team over at Freshly Made Sketches , they have a fab sketch this week which I wanted to take part in, here it is:  The circle in this sketch really spoke to me & I knew straight away that I wanted to use the daisy delights stamp & co-ordinating punch. So here is what I created:  I also used the daisy delightful daisy designer series paper which really compliments this wonderful suite. I couldn't resist using the new clear faceted gems for the pollen as well as adding some bling to the card. Here is a close up:  I hope you have been inspired with this card & thanks for popping by.  Happy Stampin',  x Jessie B x Supplies used:  Stamps: Daisy Delights Ink: Lemon Lime Twist, Sweet Sugarplum, Tranquil Tide, Wisteria Wonder Paper: Crumb Cake Cardstock, Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock, Tranqui

Oh So Eclectic

Hey there, Hope you are all well. In the UK we are enjoying some glorious weather. I hope the weather is good where ever you are. So I thought I would drop by with a card I created for a RAK swap group that I was part of. It fits nicely with the challenge over at Fab Friday . So one of my team members was lucky to win the 'Oh So Eclectic' stamp & seeing as I was receiving all of the swaps before sending them on, I got to see what people had done. The daisy delight is definitely a popular set! So I decided to make this: Here is the challenge picture from the Fab Friday page: Here is a close up of all of the fantastic in colours:  Thanks for stopping by & don't forget to check out everyone's entry on the Fab Friday challenge, X Jessie B X

Masculine

Hi there, Hope you are all well & if you are in the U.K. Enjoying this glorious weather we are having.  I'm taking part in the International blog hop ran by Kylie Bertucci . Head on over there once you finish taking a look at my project & if you like it vote & I could take part in another hop With the top ten from this hop.  So the theme this month is masculine & what with Father's Day just around the corner I thought I would ink the Nailed It stamp set. Do you ever get a stamp set & take forever to ink it? Well this was the case for me & I can't believer why I left it so long!!! I love it & so this is what I created: I love how the set has co-ordinating dies & so had to use them!! I clustered the nails, screws & bolts onto a block & then inked in basic grey. I used the paper from playful palette & chopped it! #loveitchopit then just inked the sentiment & with a sponge inked the square with the sentime

Retiring Stamp Set - Special Reason - PCC243

Good Morning, So I was browsing some blogs yesterday & someone had entered previously in the Paper Craft Crew Card challenge & I was like 'Oh yeah' so I headed over & checked out what challenge they had & it was a lovely sketch as can be seen here : I had a look at what the designers had done & I wasn't too sure of it at first, but then Tenia Nelson  had turned it sideways & I really liked it that way. This is what I came up with to showcase the 'Special Reason' stamp set which is not returning to the new Stampin' Up! catalogue :( I wanted to incorporate paper that was also retiring & so chopped it up #loveitchopit so I used the Moroccan paper, here is a close up: The Stylish Stems dies are also going & I thought one of the flowers would be nice with the intricate die that outlines the stamped image, here is a closer image of that: I hope you enjoyed this inspiration & remember to us

Cool Treats

Hey there, So I love the cool treats designer series paper (dsp), so to showcase it I created his card using just the dsp! The Paper Players have got a great challenge & I wanted to show you this card. Here is the challenge: I hope you love the card I created: The lollipops on this paper is gorgeous & I couldn't have it hidden behind a stamp set. So I just stamped a sentiment & voila! Here is a close up: Thanks for stopping by & happy crafting, X Jessie B X Supplies used: Stamps: Happy Happenings Ink: Peekaboo Peach Paper: Cool Treats DSP, Pool Party Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Peekaboo Peach Cardstock, Watermelon Wonder Cardstock Accessories: Thick Black Bakers Twine

Team Promotions with the GDP 083

Hi There, So I thought I would share some achievements that have occurred in my team recently. The Global Design Project (GDP) theme was really apt for these celebrations, so here is the theme form GDP: So I only have a small team & two of them have promoted in the last month, so to congratulate them I wanted to do something a little special with the cards. So embossing powder caught my eye as I wanted to emphasise the promotion. So here is the card I created for my team member who has just promoted to Bronze Elite: I now also have someone who is the same level as me, which is a little strange. But he is doing so well, so here is what I did for my Silver promoter: I wanted the card to have a two tone effect so I inked versemark on an area of the 'Watercolour Wash' background stamp & then inked with 'Cajun Craze' & 'Smoky Slate', then I added 'Copper' & 'Silver' embossing powder. Here is a close up:
