Scrapbooking Blog Hop - January 2019

Hi there, it's lovely to see you again for another Scrapbooking Blog Hop. There are several other scrapbook lovers to browse through at the end of this blog post, or if you've come from another blog 'hi' & I hope you are enjoying perusing through these amazing pages. Last month was pretty hectic, so we decided not to run a hop, but we are back with awesome pages to share with you. This month's theme is Winter/December Daily. So, I did do December Daily last month, but I've not yet printed off my photos to put into a mini album, once I do I will show you! So I  decided to do a lovely winter page from a couple of years ago! I'm terrible for not sticking & completing a year of photos!! Anyway, here is my scrapbook page: I've been really enjoying creating scrapbook pages with just 1 photo! It's only really been in the past year since hopping that I've done this. So I used some scrap bits of paper & layered them under the phot...

Scrapbooking Blog Hop - November 2018

Hi guys! It's lovely to see you here for the Scrapbooking blog hop. This months theme is Selfie's & I have to say this is right up my street! It's only second nature to take selfie's nowadays. This year for my birthday I went to Chepstow Castle in Wales, which is about 30 minutes from where I live. It was a lovely day & was a fun day. Here are a collection of Selfie's that we took:  These were all the Selfie's that I took whilst exploring the castle. I used some new stamp sets that I received from Onstage last week from the new Spring/Summer catalogue coming out in January. I hope you like them, that gorgeous cake!! Here is a close up of the banner: I had a gorgeous black & white picture of me & David & I couldn't resist having this as a single page, I don't do them that often as do find them a challenge to make, but this came together quite easily: I used some of the Brights designer series paper in Gorge...

Scrapbooking Blog Hop - October 2018

Hi there, it's lovely to see you here today, I'm sharing a scrapbook page along with others in this months Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop. If you've never heard of a blog hop before then let me tell you there is a group of us who will show you some amazing scrapbook layouts, a list of those taking part is at the bottom of this blog post.  This months theme is travel/adventure, I have so many photos that I go through phases on what I would like to do. With the theme I thought I would do some pages from when we went to Florida almost 3 1/2 years ago for my uncles wedding. On April fools day I suggested we go to a beach & I done a bit of research on Pinterest as you do & so we traveled to Clearwater Beach:  When traveling in a different country you don't realise how long it takes to get to place, it took us almost 3 hours to get here from Orlando! It was a really lovely day & it was nice to chill out rather than taking in the rides at the theme pa...

Hey guys! Hope you are well, it’s been a while since I’ve participated in this hop. I hope you've enjoyed the other's blogs whilst I was away, I really enjoyed seeing them over the past 2 months. So, let's get to it, if you've come from Jerim's 'Hello' wasn't her page inspirational, but if you've started here then thank's for popping by. This month's theme is 'FIRST', I really had a bit of a mental block originally, but then when I was looking at my photos during my scrapbooking workshop I found pictures from a few months ago of a walk that we haven't been on before! So voila 'my first.' I love exploring things that are on my doorstep, I follow quite a few local photographers on Instagram & one posted photos of ...

Project Highlights

Hi there,  Thanks for popping by, I wanted to share with you some projects I've created recently & a few especially for this blog post. At Stampin' Up! we get to go to events for training, achievements & creating with upcoming new products. As part of the event demonstrators get picked to either be display stampers or showcase on the stage what is new as well as tips for the rest of us demonstrators. So, I thought I would put myself forward to be a display stamper, I've created 3 card fronts, 2 3-d projects & a scrapbook page.  The first I'm going to show you is this lovely card using the Pop of Petals stamp set:  I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo & Blueberry Bushel ink, these were punched out with the Four-Petal Flower & I then cut off one of the petals on one of the flowers. The Garden Impressions paper stack is so versatile I used just a 2" strip & adhered it to a piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock. I stamped the b...

Garden Impressions - Global Design Project

Evening Everyone,  I wanted to drop by & show you what I created with the gorgeous Garden Impressions designer series paper stack & this challenge over at Global Design Project was fitting:  This paper pack is gorgeous & currently Stampin' Up! have got an awesome buy 3 get 1 free offer which includes this paper pack, here is what I created: I paired it with the Pop of Petals stamp set & the Jars of Love for the 'hello' sentiment. To create the banner I did the following: I used the pretty label punch to create the banner, by inserting one edge into the punch & voila!  Rather than a doily, I decided to use the scallop circle punch & cut it in half to create the pop of blue behind the stamped flower. I couldn't resist adding a few metallic sequins.  So, I want to let you know about the great offers happening this month, one I've already mentioned.  The papers you can order are: Animal Expediti...
