Colour Q 50

When I saw this week's colours at Colour Q I knew I wanted to take part and put all these colours together:

My work colleague is going to be 50 in a few weeks and I made a card for this great occasion and this is what I came up with:

I really enjoyed making this card, I got to colour in with such bright colours and use a new stamp set as well as a borrow one from a team member. I stamped the Apothecary Stamp in Rich Razzleberry and cut it out with the labels framelits and then coloured in with markers, using the sentiment from the same set in Bermuda Bay. Then I used the numbers from the Memorable Moments stamp set and punched it out with the Ticket Duo punch and layered it on some Primrose Petal with the scalloped oval punch. I then stamped the pansies from the Flower Shop stamp in each colour and then I stamped a couple more and used my markers to colour the petals on the one that looks like patch work. I then added some basic jewels and a candy dot in the corner. Then layered it on some dsp from afternoon picnic which has Coastal Cabana in as I don't have any dsp with Bermuda Bay in, but it works. I punched some Bermuda Bay cardstock with the scallop trim border punch and added it to the Primrose Petal cardstock. Which I put quatrefancy dsp in Daffodil Delight trimmed with the Small Scallop blade, added some washi tape and put everything together.

Thank you for popping by.

Go For Greece Blog Hop - March 2018

Evening all,

I'm popping by on a blog hop with the amazing 'Go For Greece' training group. Since October I've been part of an awesome training programme to gain knowledge & in site in how to achieve the incentive trip that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Kylie Bertucci gives some amazing training to demonstrators world wide! I've been part of some other groups that has been started by her like 'Random Acts of Kindness' where cards go to random people within the group from all over the world. I've recently been in the amazing 'Love it Chop it' group where you learn to cut that paper you have around the house!! haha! I had to go & look through some of my pages already as my parents are currently up so had a lovely day at a flower show yesterday so will show you those photos in a future scrapbook hop. I hope you enjoy this scrapbook page that is from our holiday to the Lake District almost 2 years ago! It was a glorious day after finding out that Brexit had happened here in the UK. Anyway enough of my waffling here is what I created:

I use the 'Remarkable You' stamp set to create the big leaves & then used my blender pen to shade in, I've also used 'Jars of Love' for some more foliage & the 'Playful Backgrounds' in Bermuda Bay I think!! On Soft …
