Happy New Year!

Well it's 2015 already!!

So I've decide that I want to blog a bit more which I know I probably said last year. So this time I've decide to put a list of challenges that I'm going to take part in weekly. So I might do a colour challenge one week then a sketch or I may mix it up & do both sometime.

The first challenge I'm taking part in is the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch, whilst I was browsing through some blogs for some inspiration for challenges to take part in Justin Krieger's blog caught my eye. I wanted to do a Happy New Year's card for some of my customers so here is the sketch:

The splatter's on the sketch reminded me of fireworks and I also carried this through onto the square layering. I used a couple of new products from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue which is now out. Here is my creation:

Check out the new links below which will take you straight to the online store for the products I used in this project.

  2. I love your card with all the colors... I agree with Heather and can't help thinking of fireworks. Lovely! Thanks for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew and, congratulations, you'll find that your card will be included in our featured artisan blog post tomorrow.

  3. Such a fabulous recreation of fireworks Jessie! I just love it! Awesome colours and great use of our sketch! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Craft Crew and Congratulations on being one of our Featured Artisans :-)

Go For Greece Blog Hop - March 2018

Evening all,
Hope you are well.
I'm popping by on a blog hop with the amazing 'Go For Greece' training group. Since October I've been part of an awesome training programme to gain knowledge & in site in how to achieve the incentive trip that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Kylie Bertucci gives some amazing training to demonstrators world wide! I've been part of some other groups that has been started by her like 'Random Acts of Kindness' where cards go to random people within the group from all over the world. I've recently been in the amazing 'Love it Chop it' group where you learn to cut that paper you have around the house!! haha! Well I was inspired to cut some paper in preparation for the 'Onstage event' that Stampin' Up! run for demonstrators & so this is what I created:

Do you ever go through phases of using paper? I sometimes get so excited about using stamp sets that I sometimes forget about the paper. But then I'…

This month's theme was a colour challenge of Black, Coral & Green. Well the colours didn't stop me I picked out the ink pads Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Emerald Envy & Lemon Lime Twist (which is borderline green...hehe). I then picked out one of the lovely black designer series paper from the Petal Passion suite & then I drew a blank slightly. I was rummaging through all my photos & believe me I have tons - even with running & going to a monthly scrapbooking class!!
I had left my scrapbooking album at home so couldn't remember what I had already scrapped so that really frus…
