GDP 078 - Avant Garden

Hi there,

I was on Facebook & Kylie Bertucci posted a picture of her Global Design Project this week & I was inspired to take part. Here is the sketch for this weeks challenge:

I loved the succulent's that Kylie used on her project, so I did something similar with the Avant Garden stamp set - which is a Sale-A-Bration item only available until the end of the month. Here is what I came up with:

I love colour, so I couldn't keep to the original tone-on-tone that Kylie did. But I really love being able to stamp on coloured card-stock. I originally did the spot's in Peekaboo Peach, but it just didn't pop enough on the mint macaron, as soon as I used Island Indigo ink it really popped :D, so I redid it. Here is a close up:

Monthly Scrapbooking Blog Hop

Afternoon all, Hope you are all well & getting into the festive spirit with just over a week away!! Have you still got some Christmas shopping to do? Good Morning Everyone, It's lovely to see you here. It's the Scrapbook Blog Hop & this month we have a theme challenge! Here is this month's theme: I really wanted to use some of the new papers I received this past week, so I found some photos that were from a Mexican evening out & new I could use the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack to go with the photos. So this is what I created: I used the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper for my backing paper, I then added some Call Me Clover card stock, Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape & Daffodil Delight Brights DSP & some Daffodil Delight Cardstock for the banner.
