Scrapbook Blog Hop - March

Good Morning from a snowy Bristol in the UK, if you've been hopping through the lovely inspiration, wasn't Jenny Hall's page stunning :D but if you are starting here then hello. Every 3rd Sunday of the month a group of us take part in showing a scrapbook page, this could be from a sketch, colour or a special theme. This month's challenge is a sketch, which is here:

I loved to be challenged, as I don't tend to do that many pages with just 1 photo, I love taking lots of pictures on my phone when out & about, but I really loved this photo of me & my boyfriend & couldn't resist making a page with it, so take a look:

I used the lovely Brusho to make the smoky slate card-stock not look so plain & incorporated some of the colours from the papers. Using all of the brusho colours a part from the green. Even though the blue & yellow make it look like I have haha! Here is a close up:

I really wanted to use the amazing thinlit die from the 'Celebrate You' Sale-A-Bration freebie & loved using some of the stamps from the coordinating stamp set, I also used some of the sentiments from the 'Oh so Eclectic' stamp set & it really worked. Here is a better pic:

The flower is from the Petal Passion suite with the stamp & coordinating die, I stamped with memento & then coloured with the Stampin' Blends which are the lovely alcohol markers that we sell.

Thanks for stopping by & remember to take a look at everyone's lovely creations from all over the world :) by following the links below.
