Festival of Trees

Hi all, so I've got a Christmas card to share with you. I found a great colour combination over at Global Design Project which I thought would work great for a non traditional colour theme. This is the colour combination:

These are super colours that I just couldn't wait to get inked, so here is what I came up with:

I love how the embossing folder just adds a little texture without taking away from the lovely Christmas trees. To create the little border around the decorative label punch I just punched another whole one out in colour & cut it in half, I also punched a two of the sides of the card - I didn't bother punching another whole one out. I then just glued & layered with an equal border - don't you just love what simple things you can do with a punch :)!

Monthly Scrapbooking Blog Hop

Afternoon all, Hope you are all well & getting into the festive spirit with just over a week away!! Have you still got some Christmas shopping to do? Good Morning Everyone, It's lovely to see you here. It's the Scrapbook Blog Hop & this month we have a theme challenge! Here is this month's theme: I really wanted to use some of the new papers I received this past week, so I found some photos that were from a Mexican evening out & new I could use the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack to go with the photos. So this is what I created: I used the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper for my backing paper, I then added some Call Me Clover card stock, Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape & Daffodil Delight Brights DSP & some Daffodil Delight Cardstock for the banner.
