Birthday Blooms

Hey There! I thought I would pop in with a  great colour challenge that the Global Design Project are running. I really love these colours that they put together for this challenge. Bermuda Bay being my fave colour!! So this is the colours that the design team picked:

I thought I would do something a little different & do use the Birthday Blooms stamp set by using the neutral as the stems rather than a green! I really like changing colours for something a little different, here is what I created:

I then didn't have enough Early Espresso card stock when I was running my class so used the Tangelo Twist for the backing, here is how that came out:

I just coloured them in with blender pens & for the stems & leaves I did dark for the big leaves on the bloom stamp & then went in lighter with the other leaves & stems. I wanted to show that contrast of stems & leaves.

A little tip, I stamped the bloom image on a post it note twice as well as a single flower, which I then put over the stamped image to then stamp next to one another.

Thanks for popping in to see what I created, see you soon,

  1. Such great cards, Jess! I love how you've arranged these flowers with the orange ones popping up over the blue. Lovely. Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Global Design Project color challenge.

Go For Greece Blog Hop - March 2018

Evening all,

I'm popping by on a blog hop with the amazing 'Go For Greece' training group. Since October I've been part of an awesome training programme to gain knowledge & in site in how to achieve the incentive trip that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Kylie Bertucci gives some amazing training to demonstrators world wide! I've been part of some other groups that has been started by her like 'Random Acts of Kindness' where cards go to random people within the group from all over the world. I've recently been in the amazing 'Love it Chop it' group where you learn to cut that paper you have around the house!! haha! This month's theme was a colour challenge of Black, Coral & Green. Well the colours didn't stop me I picked out the ink pads Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Emerald Envy & Lemon Lime Twist (which is borderline green...hehe). I then picked out one of the lovely black designer series paper from the Petal Passion suite & then I drew a blank slightly. I was rummaging through all my photos & believe me I have tons - even with running & going to a monthly scrapbooking class!!
I had left my scrapbooking album at home so couldn't remember what I had already scrapped so that really frus…
